Refund of itr assessment year 20 21 not received

Many taxpayers are experiencing delays in receiving their Income Tax Return (ITR) refunds for assessment year 2020-21, even after filing over six months ago. The Income Tax Department is currently upgrading its systems, which has temporarily halted refund processing. They were previously focused on clearing refunds for AY 2019-20, but are expected to resume processing for AY 2020-21 shortly.
