Where do I record Pay for service amount 2000 in FY 2015-2016 & its shows in Expenses A/c , which is refunded in FY 2016-2017?

Its is not a refundable deposit.
Let will explain, I paid sum of Rs.20,000 for service ( Roof Maint.) and Its debited in P&L last FY 2015-2016, but the service provider person returned same amount very next FY 2016-2017, So where this transaction is recorded. Is recorded in P&L credit side or it show in Asset side?
