Tulsian is best book for AMA , having diffrrent & large no. of questions for practise.

Firstly complete OR part as it is simple & covered near about 35% marks. Then go for budget, standard costing, marginal(sure questiins).
PRACTICE MANUAL

I agree with Rashmi Mam. P C Tulsian is best for AMA for understanding concepts.

Do P C Tulsian + PM + Scanner

GO FOR SAXSENA VASHISHT

should I workout sums from RTP?

YA AT LEAST LAST 5 RTP

will Saxena vasisht be simple enough to cover it within 4 months atleast. I am employed
Yes, after finishing your main course materials... solve last 4 terms rtp's and even past 3-4 terms mock test papers also.

I highly recommend only the ICAI's Practice Manual and if you want more, than do Study Material Illustrations as well. Costing PM is the best drafted PM amongst all subjects. Every Chapter is very neatly divided into 3 sections viz., Theory, Practicals and case based questions. Added advantage is that 90 % of the times, AMA paper comes from the PM itself. And also, PM has vast number of questions to practice on. Padhuka is a sucks. Personal Experience here. and Trust me, if you think you'll cover both Padhuka &  PM, you actually won't be able to.

For people who are referring xyz Book + PM + RTPs' + blah blah... Do you even think it is humaly practically possible to cover all of them, considering the fact that AMA itself is humongous, besides 7 other ocean like subject. It sure looks neat & nice, but it would be good if we talk practicality.
