freinds are there any updates on the reduction of pcc articleship period from 3 1/2 y to 3 y from the institue.....from the last i have known ...institute had formed a comitee to discuss on this issue...by the time this guys take any decision we would had completed our 3 1/2 y articleship.......is there anyway to wake this people up from their slumber

Dear Student,
The Institute constituted a Study Group for considering issues relating to permitting CPT students to appear in CA Final Exam during the last six months of their articles and reduction in the period of articles for PCC students from 3½ years to 3 years on 1st July, 2009. The Group’s recommendations and approval of the Council are awaited. Thereafter, if need be, the regulation might also require amendment for which approval of the Central Government would also be required.

Hi all PCC students here is a good news 4 us.
Thanx to Mr. Uttam Prakash Agarwal who has constituted a commitee to consider matter of reduction in period of articleship by 6 months in response of our mails which I continuously send him for last 1 month. U can check this announcement at following link https://icai.org/post.html?post_id=4691&c_id=219 Now I request to all PCC student to mail to our ICAI President and other officials of ICAI to take a decision soon on this matter. Forming a comitee is not enought .....the comitee has to take decisions soon...i feel institue has setup commitee just to appease students.....i think students should bombard them with e-mails to wake them up.

I wish the article ship should be brought down to 2 years. one year before PCC & one year after PCC.
I don't think that student develops any skills in the article training.
