Hi, I had received a demand notice of Rs 1300 instead of a refund of Rs 1500/- for the AY 2013-14. Had filed my taxes online and even the efiling website shows "Tax credit fully matches with 26AS". The form 143(1) shows that they took an incorrect entry of the TDS during calculation, which is lower than what is present in 26AS/Traces.
So, I filed for a online rectification under "reprocess my return - no correction required" -> Tax credit mismatch. Today I see that the rectification order is also rejected and they are still asking for a demand.
Please help, what is the next course of action to get this fixed?
