Rectification of ITR

I WANT TO RECTIFY MY ITR BUT LATEST COMMUNICATION REFERENCE NUMBER IS REQUIRED THERE WHICH I DON'T KNOW. WHERE THIS NIMBER IS GIVEN ? PLEASE REPLY.

If the ITR status is processed........ you would have received intimation u/s. 143(1) (if not, can be asked for a copy, online). The latest communication reference number is mentioned in it.

If the ITR still not processed...... you cannot rectify. You can revise, if within time limit....

The process of filing revise return is same as that for original return. Only difference is that you have to select Revised Return in type of return filing. You have to put the Acknowledgement number of original return also. In the revised return you need to correct the desired figures.
