Recovery from sik company

i am working with Municipal corporation OF greater mumbai.

We have some octroi tax outstanding against a company which is under BIFR (Sica act 22(bifr No is 30/2013)

the director of the comapny has informed us that under this circumstances he is not liable to pay  the taxes.

 

pls advice how to approach the BIFR  board to recover the tax? Can we approach them?

in the case the properties of the company has been already sold then what we can do?

You will need to first approach the company by sending a legal notice... Try to get your money by attaching their bank account etc based on power bestowed on you by the law... In case the company is in liquidation approach the liquidator
