Reason why MBA is far ahead of CA(esp icai kaa)

But i agree with u, sushant. ICAI only brags about its degree and try to copy mba by introducing MBS. But icai shouldn't forget that a seller just by introducing a product doesn't become successful, he has to insure that the product satisfies the consumer.

Here, the basic product of icai is faulty. ICAI doesn't even respond to the feedback of students about the CA course.

I am really sorry when i have to say this; but this is heartbreakinlgy true. ICAI's course is popular as it has got the monopoly protection from the Central government. If we evaluate the course content, administration of student's welfare in academics, job viability,so called practical exposure(selling us like pimps); taking away the equation of monopoly of CAs from icai to conduct audit; then it will as " good" as other bogus accounting training centres like ICFAI,CIA, NIFA, etc.

On the other hand, has the government banned schools to teach MBA? Even then the value of IIM,FMS,SPKM,NM, etc hasn't dimisnished.LAcs of students give exams to be in them.

That is the case, my Lord.

The case is as good as closed for UPA

and what about the dhongg of cheap course. cheap my foot. We get 1000pm and icai says that will support our learning. What about our fooding, lodging,stationery, transport, medicines. We spend 70000 approx for coahing institute.The love for money alone prompted icai to launch their own coaching classes and target pvt. coaching centres. Self study to sirf einstein karr saktaa hain; coz icai modules are bulky, not marks oriented,outdated, and it sucks.

So how is it a cheap course. Plus, we have to see the risk-return relationship.icai just tries to put the wool over our eyes

Is there still any doubt on the fact that ICAI has lost brand value and all the claims made by it regarding impact of recession on CAs being very less are false?

 Comparing two different professions?

Each has different role to play and it depends ypon Company to Company

it may seem 2 professions. but both of us fight for the same positions in the corporate world if we are not practising;and it seems somewhat unfair when we come know that starting salaries of mba (even from non-iim) are lot higher than that of icai. icai makes makes tall claims trying to portray itself higher than mba.

icai placement mein bhi kitneko job milti hai, woh bolo. starting salary toh durr ki baat hain.placement ke naam pe fees bhi lete hain, u know that

Now since so many issues has been discussed, I want to raise one more issue -

ICAI do every possible thing to ensure that all the articles do go to office during the entire period of articleship. They say that 3-1/2 year articleship will make us proficient in the field. BUT the fact is that most of us do same and same thing during the entire articleship and after cleaing end up doing some job in Banking co. etc. where we do such work that we could do even without articleship experience or may be with an internship of 1 year.

The articleship period of 3 1/2 yrs is too long and I believe that even a 12 month training after qualification can make us eligible for taking up this Profession.

AND I have witnessed that Dummy candidates sometimes are the winner as they score high marks in the Exam(as they don't have office burden) and then take some training after finals. Get placement and life becomes simple..
