Dear All,
Please advise that in a private limited co.in case of REAPPOINTMENT of MD, the md needs to be (re)appointed as director first and then MD? Which sections says that ?
please help!

sec-196 and sec-203 of companies act 2013
This will be dependent on the term of appointment of that person as a director. if his term as director is not expiring with his term as MD, he can be reappointed as MD in accordance with Section 196 read with 203.
