24 December 2012An Assessee is quoting wrong PAN unintentionally in his ITR since last 10 years.Though The limit prescribed u/s 139(5) for filling revised return has been expired, it cannot be revised. What is the remedy available in this case? wheather penalty u/s 272B will be applicable.? or we can make a request to A.O for the same..?
Please note that this mistake has not come to the notice of A.O. till now.

I THINK PENALTY U/S 272B should be applicable
