For Management; Planning is one of the most important function. Not only in business, but  in our day to day life; it is very important.

According to objectives decided beforehand; planning is made. Objectives are decided according to the vision of the management.  

Dr. Reddy of  Dr. Reddy's Labs ( a listed company of India the price of its Rs.5 share is being quoted at Rs.1340 now )  told in 1997 to achieve 1000 cr. of turnover in next 20 years when its turnover was Rs.200 cr per annum. In 2010, its turnover was Rs.approx 4500 cr. Hope in next 7 years it would achieve its target. 

So one can say not only he is a Doctor but Manager also who can see what he wishes to achieve in next 20 years !

In last 15 years; it was never noticed that company is in trouble due to any reason.

(Tutorial : Many  students read Management subject without trying to know practical application thereof. They should read various magazines to have indepth knowledge how  management theories are practically applied. After every reading they should analyze the material what they read ) .

Please read 1000 cr. as Rs. 10,000 cr.

While reading management one should not forget that this is the subject due to which MBAs are paid high salaries.

Unfortunately; this subject is taken at last by most CA students in their study plans. In my opinion; it is the subject which should be taken first of all. Not only it will help towards aggregate of 50 but it will improve the strategy to follow in CA career. 

The success of MBA lies in some factors which are as under : 

1. High cost which not only makes students aware but their parents also. Many students take bank finance. (Please see again the post Leverage above).

2. Good environment where all the students are of same category. No student is less cautious about his career. 

3. Regular studies which leads to success in one shot. This is missed by most other students of commerce stream.

4. No stress at the time of lecture because these are the success stories of  business how they faced difficulties  (which are called as case studies).

5. In my opinion; every student has intelligence. The difference is of interest in different areas. (Some students can tell you each and every story of the films which they have seen - they can well analyze what happened in the movie). 

6. Since MBA courses are run by one of the best managers; hence all the facilities are of advanced features. 

For CA students; Management subject  is only a  small portion of whole syllabus. They take it as a theory subject.

Change the vision and attitude towards Management and you all would lead the MBA Students.  Thenafter no need of doing MBA !

Make a group of students and discuss how best strategy can be made for advancement of career.  Read Directors' Report of big companies and specially pay attention on their address to the shareholders during Annual General Meeting.  

Buy best management books and analyze them in groups.
