What is quorum for board meetings

The quorum for a meeting of the Board of Directors of a company shall be onethird of its total strength

or

two directors,

whichever is higher,

and the participation of the directors by video conferencing or by other audio visual means shall also be counted for the purposes of quorum

and whats the least number for directors to be present

As per section 174, a board meeting shall have higher of following:
1. One third of the total strenght
2. 2 directors

In case interested directors are attending the meeting, exceeding or equal to two third of the total strength, then atleast 2 dis-interested should be attending the meeting to constitute a quorum.
