Our Company (Listed) has recently issued Notice u/s 192A of the Companies Act, 1956 (Postal Ballot) seeking consent of Shareholders w.r.t. a special reolution regarding extending Corporate Guarantee u/s 372A of the Compnaies Act, 1956. Now a Shareholder wants to inspect the  contracts, agreements entered w.r.t. the said resolution. Is the Company liable to present these documents before the shareholder? Please advice.

Hi Shreya,

The shareholder should be allowed to inspect contracts and agreements if asked expressly by the shareholder as he has the right to inspect copies of documents concerning the company.
