Query related to appointment of additional director

There is no provision in the Act requiring MGT.14 to be filed for appointment of additional director.

There is no any difference while appointing director/ additional director in private/ public company except in Public companies, at time of appointment of director of the company in AGM/ EGM, a sum of Rs. 1 lakh need to be deposit by proposer of the director or the director himself with the company which shall be refunded by the company after the director is being appointed.
