Dear Friends/colleagues,
My query is that whether is a Service Provider required to get registered,
if he is providing taxable services which are exempt
under Mega exemption Notification no.25/2012 ST dated 20-06-2012.
Please reply to me at the earliest.
Only person liable to pay service tax must mandatorily register. Hence a service provider is not required to register if he is providing services that are exempt under this notificaiton.
