Query regarding max time available b/w ipcc and articleship

Hi,

I had a query regarding what is the maximum time available after completion of both groups of IPCC and Articleship?

My current situation is this:

I am currently doing B.Com(H) and simultaneously studying for IPCC (both groups). I shall be giving the examination in November this year (2012). I will complete B.Com by May, 2014.

My question is whether I am allowed to delay my articleship by a period of 1.5 years so I can complete college after giving IPCC (both groups) before I commence my articleship.

You can delay your articleship but your attempt for ca final will be delayed due to late joining of articleship..

Hey, Thanks for the quick reply! I'm aware that I will have to postpone my CA final attempt due to that. I shall join articleship only after college then.
