dear sir ,i have a question regarding service tax , a pvt. ltd company is providing service (work-contract) to west bengal state electricity distribution company , in this case who should pay the amount of service tax ?
if any any kind of abatement availabale in respect of this issue , please notify me?
in works contract service both service reciever and service provider are liable to pay equal amount of service tax on taxable value i.e 50-50 %
