Query on Cess on Aerated Beverages

If a restaurant supplies aerated beverages does it have to charge CESS on the aerated beverages which it sells as the aerated beverages purchased by it have been levied gst along with cess ?

Sweetened aerated water and flavoured water will attract a total duty of 40%—28% tax and 12% additional cess, according to the proposed goods and services tax (GST) rates which will kick in on 1 July.

Yes, restaurant have to charge Cess and take credit of cess received on purchases
