I am a CA-Final student & need ur help in Q2 (b) of CA Final law paper May-2016......I think this question was from Sec-408 of Companies Act-1956....But question says to reply according to the provisions of companies act 2013, So i had mentioned Sec 161 (3) nominee director.
is the Question incorrect or else im missing out some provisions

On reference made by the CG, the CLB passed an order authorizing the CG to appoint its nominee as directors of Bangaluru co. Ltd to safegaurd interest of shareholders & public. Referring to the provisions of Companies Act-2013 state the restriction, if any on the number of directors & period for which appointment can be made. State action that may be taken by CG with regards to affairs of the co.
