Quick Summary
This discussion addresses whether a wife can e-file an Income Tax Return (ITR) for her deceased husband, particularly when he had no tax due as per Form 16. The consensus is that she can, by registering as a legal heir on the income tax portal. Once registered as the deceased's representative, she can proceed with filing the return.

Yes his wife can file her deceased husband income tax return by registering as legal heir in income tax portal as a representative of deceased person and after successful registration she can file return
