Graphical questions (chapter LPP ) of QT if there is an equation like that -

2x-4y=0

then in that case if we put value of x=0 then y also comes 0 ana vice versa

it means if the equation given is less or equal then 0 that means it is irrelevant as x and y comes to 0.

As normally we solve by taking one variable as 0 to find value of other variable.

pls tell me whether the equation which is equal to 0 is irrelevant or we can solve it by any other way??

Hi Naina, it isnt necessary to take 0 as the value of one variable. Say for example, lets take x=2. On substituting the value of x in the equation, y=1. Similarly if x=4, then y=2. Now just plot these points and draw a straight line thru these.

So whether we have to take same values in all equations like if we took x= 2 then in all other equation also we have to take x=2 only or we can take different values for different equations.

Like if there are 3 equations in a question then we have to take x=2 in all equation or we can take different value in different equation

Of course u can take any value u like. In the above example, u can take different values for x in the other equations. It isnt necessary to take x=2 for all the three equations.

Thanks a lot Jithin.
