I am presently doing articleship in a firm, I WANT TO KNOW THAT IF I TAKE TRANSFER FROM THIS FIRM AND JOIN SOMEOTHER FIRM WHAT WILL BE THE NO OF LEAVE.......AS I HAVE ALREADY TAKEN 40 DAYS LEAVE IN THIS FIRM......
WILL IT BE 180- 40 OR Again 180

agreed from above
1/6th of actual period served for articleship will become your leave, not just 180 or 180-40. This is my view.
