29 April 2010During March year end, if we creat a provision for some services and deduct the withhold taxes thereon but while making payment to the vendor in the next Fin. year against this provision , TDs is deducted again erroneously. Can this TDS be adjusted against some other party's TDS. what is the right thing to do in such a case.

TDS returns are filed quarterly. The double deduction of TDS may be rectified by adjusting it against other party in the same quarter.
