Query ?
When i put all the details i.e, PAN ,AY ,CPC Referrence no into the income tax return form ( through login id and password ) for a corporate body ( Asian Scales and Engineering Corporation ) and submit it then a message comes out that
" Your Rectification has already been sent to AST "
What's the meaning of that message ? and
What should i do ?

AST means “Assessment Information System”. AST module is the core process of ITD applications conceptualized as an on-line, menu driven software capable of carrying out all assessment and related functions used by income tax officers.
It means rectification rights have been transferred to your jurisdictional AO. You need to contact your AO for further processing.
But when i met to the income tax officer, he told me that total responsibility vested to CPC bangalore , and no records have been sent to him , and he has not an authorised person to do that .
