1) Please let me know the how to split the spreadsheet and how to remove the split in spreadsheet in EXCEL 2007.
2)A Spread sheet in Excel 2007 has some numbers which are taken from another worksheet. The link to another sheet still exists. I would like to break this link and just have the numbers. There are many links in one sheet and I want to just have numbers in the sheets without link and I want to do this in one stroke. How to do this?

regarding ur first question u can split the worksheet got to window - split, just select area which u wanna to split before splitting,& then window - remove split (when u want to remove)
second question
just copy that cell which have link from another worksheet, & then paste the same cell at that same place,by right click, paste special- values-ok.

As asked in question (1) if you are working in MS Office 2007, just click the 'View' menu form Menu pad and find the split button and give a click and that's it.
