Purchases a property from huf
I am purchasing a property from a HUF and the sale agreement executed.
Now the registry time coming and the Sale Deed signed by Karta & HUF members.
And Karta is giving a affidavite about the total no of members of HUF as the Seller is not known to me i dont know his family. if Karta give wrong affidavit about no of members than what is the consequences of the same.
Is there any other way to know about the members of HUF or any way so that no legal issue arises in future.
Need your Help regarding this.

There won't be any liability on you, since if affidavit is found false, seller will be held responsible & it will a transaction void-ab-initio.Just check whether all other property(like sale deed,7/12 extract etc) documents are genuine.
If the transaction becomes void-ab-initio then its our purchased property becomes again of HUFs property which is our problem.
i want to know that what i do so that the transaction eneterd going to be valid.
