As per my advice.,
Treat as Sales Invoice. Then Only You and Your supplier can avail the benefit and Show it in GST returns...
If you make debit note then you ll be prepare VAT tax. Also You / Supplier can't show it anywhere if VAT return...

Agreed sir,
Create sales invoice.
Goods (on which taxes were paid pre gst regiom) returned by a registered buyer will be treated as ‘Deemed Supply’. GST has to be paid on this by the person returning the goods.
