Can a purchase order be raised without mentioning any rate of the product???
Since the agreement with the vendor states that the rate of the product is decided at dispatch date

generally purchase order is raised to agree all the terms with vendor. Among them rate is crucial factor
If rate is not certain also they may agree for some rate and raises
If rate is not certain also they may agree for some rate and raises
if the rate changes later we can amend po by request of the vendor
