Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies how to categorise the purchase of ropes for accounting purposes. Generally, if ropes are used in production or the factory, they are considered a direct expense. Otherwise, they fall under indirect expenses. The specific category, such as accessories or miscellaneous expense, depends on the intended use, with miscellaneous expense being a common classification. It's also noted that GST is applicable on rope purchases.

If Expense related to production or factory then purchase of rope will be under Direct Expense otherwise same will be under Indirect Expense .

You can Show under  miscellaneous  expense  However  GST is applicable  on ropes  .
