Yes. He can be a proxy for 50 members or he can be a proxy for a maximum of 10% of share capital (refer section 105 of COMPANIES ACT)

(As per section 105 of companies Act, 2013)
1. A proxy can act on behalf of maximum 50 members holding aggregate 10% or less total share capital of the company.

2. If a single member holding more than 10% of total share capital,then a single person can act as proxy on behalf of that particular member and not act as proxy for any other member.
