i wish to open a fashion designing store but i want to get the store registered on the shop name and not my individual name. can i open the proprietorhip on that name and take its registration.

Proprietorship concerns can have a different name but the registration certificate shall be issued in the name of the proprietor and the name of the concern may be suffixed to it
