I got an intimation for possession of my property (commercial UDS) on 26 Jul 2018.
But I registered the property on 21 Dec 2018.
Now, builder is asking me to pay Property tax since the possession intimation date on a pro rata basis.
Is it legal to collect Property tax before Registration of the property?
Yes, builder can get it reimbursed from the property owners from any day after the date of 'Completion Certificate'
