Property Sale after 3 Years

I have a property in Kerala bought in 2017 for 60 lakhs + 7 lakhs registration fees.

(I did not claimed registration fees in income tax during the time as I was abroad)

Can I claim the registration fee expense in 2020 tax deductions?

Quick Summary
If you purchased a property and paid registration fees, you cannot claim these as a deduction under Section 80C in later tax years. However, when you eventually sell the property, these registration fees can be added to your original cost of acquisition. This will help reduce your capital gains tax liability.

No you can't claim now
If you are selling the property then you can add it to your cost of accquisition...but you cannot claim registration fees as deduction under section 80 C now
