We are manufacurer and exporting our goods to various country. one of our consignment expored to USA on 04/01/2012 from our factory and vessel sealed on 14/01/2012 but our CHA provided proof of export now so if we submit these proof of export in excise department what will be heppen ?
in short our goods are physicaly exported within six month but we fail to submit proof of export within six month what will be the penalty or interest ?
pls.anyone confirm ?

u had to write to DC for relaxation of time for submitting the proof of export.

If they fail to submit Proof of Export within six month from date of Export what would be penaly for same ??
in case of failure to submit POE within six months they have to pay duty with interest on the value of clearance.

before hand i asked for correct data as goods sealed on 14/01/2012 can be exported only after that date i.e 14/01/2012, but the query poster has mentioned 04/01/2012 as export date, how it can be possible to export the goods before clearance from factory :)
