Profit sharing ratio based on capital

Can profit sharing ratio provide in partnership deed as based on capital contributed by partners?. The capital contribution is not specified in deed. Initially capital is contributing equally but subsequently one partner may contribute additional amount. Suppose initial ratio 1:1, if one partner subsequently brought additional capital, it will be 3:2. Can we provide the same in original deed or is it necessary to change deed later when additional capital brought in.
