Professional tax registration in karnataka

Dear Experts,

Ours is a software private limited company, registered in Andhra Pradesh. But, our operations are from Karnataka. Please provide responses to the following questions:

- Since our employees are working from Karnataka, I think, we need to register for Professional Tax in Karnataka. If I'm correct then please let me know how to register my firm for PT through online. (I went through https://pt.kar.nic.in, but confused which option that I need to choose. Is it 'New RC Request'?)

- I know that PT is applicable only when any employee's salary is > INR 10,000. Since we are not paying salary > INR 10,000, we didn't enroll for PT till date. If we enroll it now, will it cause any issues for us?

- Is 'date of commencement of Prof.' same as 'date of company incorporation'?
