Please let me know the procedure and documents required to register a company for Profession Tax in Mumbai jurisdiction..also let me know the charges, company will have to pay to the govt for registration..

1. Fill Profession Tax Registration Form.
2. Take the following documents with you:
- Certificate of Incorporation
- PAN Card
- VAT/CST Registration Certificate
- Address Proof
- Bank Statement of Last 3 months (or less if the firm is new)
- Cancelled Cheque Leaf
3. No money to be paid for registration.

Fill Form 1 for Registration. If the company is not enrolled, fill Form 2 alongwith the same set of documents with you and apply for Enrollment also.
Registration - For deducting and paying PT of employees.
Enrollment - For paying PT of the company itself.
