How is the PT paid in CHennai? Cheque or DD?

FOr a company with 3 employees how much should we pay?
Also should an employer contribution be paid ?

The amount of tax depends up on the gross earned salary of an employee during the half year. The slab has been prescribed by the Chennai corporation. For example, if an employee earns Rs.75000 during the half year, he has to pay Rs.1095 as professional tax for that half year. Employer should contribute Rs.1095 for an half year. If the organisation is a company with share capital then an additional amount of Rs.1000 has to be paid each half year. To know the slab and for more details please visit Chennai corporation website.
