As far as i know, professional ethics apply only to members of the CA inst. My doubt is if a CA final student wanted to start a service organisation and if while being a student advertised and marketed to get clients (which is not allowed among CAs) is that ok? What happens when the student qualifies?

Dear friend

This uis rahul. It depends what type of service organisation you want to run. Even if you are running an a ccounting firm than also it will not contradict the ethis as professional ethics appplies only to members.

But still you should take advise from other respected members

Will depend on whether you want to take up practice or enter industry. If you set up a practice, it follows naturally that you will have to wind up your service company as on that date. On the other hand if you enter industry and if your company allows you (Most companies dont) - you can continue to run the business

If you are continuing your Articleship Training, you can't engage in any business. If your Articles Training has been over, you can proceed till your qualification as a CA.
