Processing

Filed ITR 2 on 24th August, since 2nd November it is shown as under Processing. Don't know why it's taking so much time as the new portal is supposed to be much faster than the previous one.

Yes, the processing takes some time in the case where there is variance in ITR data with AIS reports; involving manual verification. More the difference, more time it takes for processing.

Dear Sir, thanks for the response. In all such cases a query is generated, in my case have not received any such query . Even last time it took close to few months for refund. I thought the new portal could fasten the process. once again thank you Sir

Yes, last time it took some months, almost an year in many PGBP cases.

This time you can expect to complete the processing within a fortnight, from now on....

Thank you Sir, hopefully I will receive Refund soon as there is no pending action and all sources has been properly reported to the last penny. Request you throw some light on what is PGBP cases?

PGBP ... is Income or Profits & Gains under head Business and Profession.

For your information many of our clients have received refunds in this week, after processing of about 10 to 20 days.

So, you will receive very soon.

Good Luck.

Thank you🙏
