Processed refund has not considered complete TDS

Dear Friends,

I've a query regd. my filed ITR. I had filed my ITR for AY 2022-23 and upon receiving the processed return from the IT deptt., they have not considered my TDS on income from other sources (FDs, bonds, etc.) but have considered only TDS from salary. I've attached the screenshot of the same.

Please explain why it is so and what corrective step needs to be taken?

Quick Summary
A user filed their ITR for AY 2022-23 and received a processed return that only considered TDS from salary, ignoring TDS from other sources like FDs and bonds. Despite the TDS figures matching their Form 26AS, the Income Tax department failed to account for it. The advice given suggests checking Form 26AS and the original ITR filing for data entry errors, and if necessary, applying for a rectification request online.

You may submit rectification request online under 'reprocess the return'. but also make sure that you have claimed entire TDS in your return and also it is showing in 26AS. If you have claimed but not reflecting in 26AS than you will not get refund.

There may be various reasons of this. It may be possible no amout is coming in 26AS and you have claimed TDS while filing return. It may be the return is processed wrongly. It may be possible there is some other mistake which I can tell after seeing your computation, 26AS and intimation received. I'm sharing my details in your inbox.

Sirs,

The TDS figures not accounted for exactly match with 26AS. There is no difference. That's why I'm surprised how come IT deptt. has made such a rookie mistake?

Check your inbox please.
There must be any data entry error just check it otherwise apply for rectification
