Procedure for registration under central excise

You need to take registration only once you cross the SSI exemption limit, i.e. is Rs. 1.5 Crores. When you cross the turn over of Rs. 90 Lakh in a financial year you only need to intimate the department.

Now in some commissionerate online registration can be done on ACES.
