Hi Nidhi,
For adding joint name, the shareholder has to execute a transfer deed, duly stamped (0.25% of consideration) and submit the same to the Company’s R&TA for transfer. Such addition of name amounts to change in ownership of shares and the overall procedure for transfer has to be followed.
