Hi friends,
i am in a big problem since last 1 & half years. i had joined CWA course during my articlship but did not continue beacause of my articleship and CA-final studies. i had taken the permission of the council for the same.
Now, they are not enrolling me as a memeber and asking for CWA discountinuance certificate issued by ICWAI. i had called ICWAI but they said they dont issue such certificate and your registration will automatically get expired.
please help,

Why you should discontinue CWA?? You have already complied with CA regulations. This type of problems comes because you are interacting with staff of ICAI. In my opinion , you interact with the Chairman of your ICAI chapter. In addition give a mail to President of ICAI.
It was because of ICAI staff , one person was not allowed to register for CPT for some formality based reasons which were illogical. He contacted CA. V. Murali and all the thing was done within no time.
So be cool and interact with higher officials of ICAI. There is no need to discontinue CWA.
