Problem coming my way

Hi friends

I need your help guys.

I think I am heading towards a problem.

Actually, I am working in an MNC from last 3 months. Previously, I was working with a practising CA. Now my company is asking for the relieving letter, which my CA has denied me from giving. This has put me in a precarious situation.

How can I get out of this situation. Because this company has a record of terminating workers who fail to furnish the relieving letter.
Is it fair of him or anybody in our profession to stop one from getting better job?

Plz tell me how can we persuade him for relieving letter.

Plz reply,

If you have left the job as per contract terms (by giving notice as per terms or by leaving on notice pay as the case maybe) then you can take legal action as well. Go ahead and file a complaint in ICAI as well.

try to convience your previous firm that is the only easy way out

Go emotionally

I agree with CA CS* Prakash Somani . You should take step adviced by him.

thnx akash for supporting me.... by the way what are you doing between piller of books... which i think must be CA modules and reference books !!! :)

 go n plead b4 him.............

waqt pe gadhe ko v baap banana parta hai

Currently i m preparing for nov final exam...thats a reason

Well, every other company has the same policy of asking for relieving letter... Two reasons - 1st to verify that you were actually working there. 2nd - to verify that you are relieved towards your duties..... Ask the company if your bank statement ll do ( where you received your salary ) and give them contact no of your CA to ask him about dates of leaving and your salary.... If the MNC is cool about this, its ok...

Thanx dear for your valuable suggestions.

Thanx Krunal, Prakash, Akashdeep, Rashmi (funny though bt true), koolleo.

I've talked to my manager and got li'l assurance on the matter and also, planning to visit my ex-Boss again after 31st july.

Let's c wht happens

Thanx again.
