I am registering pvt ltd company as a first director myself with 90% holding . Before proceeding i want to know that for second director is it necessary to present himself anywhere or is it possible to take POA for his work/presence . Please clear my query so that i can proceed or i have to choose opc

Dear Siddharth,

If you and second director are the subscribers to MOA then there is a requirement of witnessing the signatures of subsribers by any person. But this is not an issue if any of your friends can witness the signatures of both the persons. Other than this since the application for Incorporation is done online, there is no requirement for the directors to present in person before the authorities.
