Previous income tax returns

You need to create a login id at https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/ and then you can file onine returns else go to nearest income tax office and file return

I know about the online tax filing process. My question was how can we file previous returns for eg 2007,08,09....12 .. 

Is it possible to file previous year returns online ???

 yes aggred with ragha, it shall be better a letter request to be given at the commisoner level at the ITO ward & then this can be filed

File returns for years when the Income is more than the taxable income.

if there are no refunds and if taxable income is less that the permissible limits you need not file.

To file previous years Return you should write to AO with copy to CIT - take acknowlwdgement of both.  Explain reasons for not filing return.  AO will forward it to CIT for permission.
