Dear Learned friends,
Kindly clarify the following, while filling ITR it asks for no. of accounts held, I have a PPF a/c which has a separate passbook and account no. operated from the same branch where I have savings account also and FDs. Do I need to mentioned both savings account and PPF as two separate accounts or should I mention only savings account.

Hello, PPF accounts are not required to be disclosed in the ITR as part of the bank accounts disclosure
PPF accounts needs not to be mentioned in the ITR. Just mention one savings bank account in ITR that is enough.
