Whether PPF withdrawal is taxable w.e.f. 1.4.2006 if the investment is made after 1.4.2006.

After the implementation of EET regime PPF withdrawl will be taxable. This EET is very much likely to be implemented by 01.04.06. However, Past saving can hopefully be exempt from EET, as EET is likely to be prospective
