| The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the nation on the joyous occasion of Id-Ul-Fitr. In a message the Prime Minister said that Id-ul-Fitr marks the end of the period of fasting during the pious month of Ramzan. The festival commemorates austerity, brotherhood and the spirit of sharing. It reflects the true spirit of our composite culture. “May the festival strengthen our resolve to promote tolerance and peace and live in harmony.” Dr. Manmohan Singh added. |
